The capacity management tool helps the company to relate the supply and demand of all relevant production factors to each other. The factors that must be taken into account include, for example, the allocation of the employees involved or the occupancy of the production machines. Based on these factors, problems such as overloading individual production branches can be quickly identified and stalled at an early stage. The basis of this optimization is the maintenance of the company’s data. The motto here is: the more, the better. Precise work schedules as well as shift and holiday plans can be incorporated into the useful tool. This enables an exact statement of what amount of productive power is available at what point in time. This production power is compared to the calculated demand, which allows precise optimization of productivity to be achieved.
Demand is also calculated using precise calculations. The basis for this is the type and number of tools, machines and workers. It is also taken into account whether the resources used have to be used for a limited time or over the entire period of production. The percentage utilization of the affected machines, resources and workers is also included. This percentage calculation is relevant, for example, in cases where an employee has to operate several machines. Groups can also be formed here in order to be able to optimize the total as well as the individual working time of each participant. The comparison of the various data sets shows any conflicts that can then be resolved. This is the case, for example, with overlaps when different manufacturing processes require the same machines.

The Playstation 4 is eagerly awaited by developers and gamers alike. This will appear at the end of 2013 and will have a pleasant surprise in store.
Familiar technique
The main problem with PS2 and PS3 was the complicated technology of the system. Yannis Mallat, CEO of Ubisoft Montreal, remembers the complex structure of the two systems and is pleasantly surprised by the technology of the PlayStation 4. This will be more like a computer. There are no specially developed chips from Sony and an eight–core CPU from AMD is used, which guarantees the developers greater user–friendliness. This core will make it easier to develop games for the system and more launch titles will be available.
According to Mallat, the PlayStation 4 is a good step in the right direction for Sony. He was pleasantly surprised by the technology, which is familiar to game developers and offers more possibilities to develop games for the PlayStation 4. High–quality games are also possible, because the whole system has a lot of power thanks to the 8 GB RAM memory, a 6X BluRay player and an HDD hard drive. Ubisoft is positively impressed with the PlayStation 4 and one of the first games for the system will be Watch Dogs.
